The British Countryside in your pocket.

Penguin Classics have brought out a series of 20 paperbacks about the British Countryside. I love their simple white illustrated covers.
Books titles inlcude: A Wiltshire Diary by Frances Kilvert, illustrated with a whitehorse, A Shropshire Lad by AE Hausman, Let Us Now Praise Famous Gardens, Vita Sackville West and English Folk Songs by Ralph Vaughan Williams. All pictured below. You can buy them online, I saw them in Borders, Charing Cross Road.
