I've set aside today for party planning - too late to get this lovely nautical themed bunting from the cotton bunting company. Bum!
I might get it anyway, so that it becomes Birthday Bunting and comes out every year. Not the bunting mummy, not the aunting bunting. Yep.

I made my own bunting (20 metres for my wedding last year) and it is surprisingly easy. You just need some fabric, pinking shears and a wide fabric tape to sew it all onto. If you have a sewing machine it's very speedy, but even without it is a great watching tv task...and you can add favorite fabrics et al which makes it special and "yours"
I love this!
Thanks for the link. Beautiful stuff!
I so agree with fabhat but my attempt was dismal it really was. All white fraying bunts with red bias binding tings and stapled - no, no, no. I thought I should make some from cute baby clothes that I don't want part with. I will get round to it. I will.
Our friend JT got obsessed by this bunting and thought it might be an in-joke with the fishermen spelling out rude words.
