Erbie has started putting two words together - mainly ‘go-on bus’ and ‘go-on choo choo’. He is slightly bus obsessed. The one I got him from a souvenir shop for Christmas has long gone, dropped one time too many it smashed spectacularly on the supermarket floor. It had previously fallen to bits on the Post Office floor but I’d managed to stick it back together with a parcel sticker.
He was even sleeping with it at one point and if it slipped out of his tight little fist a plantive ‘oh bus, oh dear bus’ would continue until said bus was replaced in grasp.
Now he just pushes a rather sad pair of wheels on an axle around.
I had brunch with a friend the other morning who pointed out that he has a Northern accent, it’s not so much ‘bus’ more ‘booowsse’.
We passed this boooossse the other morning.
Vegan Routes restaurant in an old Routemaster bus in the NCP car park on Brewer Street, W1
Go-on choo choo, Piccadilly

aww, the poor lad and his broken bus! he he. i love that restaurant on the bus idea.
I must go check out the veggie bus next lunch break.
I like the fact that 'Erbie's got a northern accent - but then I'm biased!
Ah so sweet, I can just imagine him saying that in his sleep as his favourite toy slipped from his grasp. Gotta Love Erbie xx
Nice to see your son has gone green at such a tender age.
Funny I was reading about this bus restaurant the other day. I have recently started on a vegan diet...just for the hell of it which is why I found it interesting.
My toddler has a funny accent too...later is leerter??? It sounds very odd sort of West Country accent. ;0)
We had a small bus obsession for a while in our house, and found a wonderful book called Naughty Bus by Jan Oke in the library. My son loved it so much I had to buy a copy. It's excellent. I'm sure Erbie will love it.

Yes, I think it's a good idea, I think they copied this one set up in 2006 though: root-master.co.uk, off Brick Lane, very similar but unrelated!

I am partial to a Northern accent but by rites it should be a West Country one...

Not so sweet at 3am!

Bugger won't eat meat, and me a fledgling carnivore.
@katyboo1
Will look up that book for sure. Thanks.
