John Lewis Roof Garden Oxford Street London

This Summer John Lewis celebrated it’s 150th anniversary and as an extra feature they added a roof garden, accessible via stairs from the side of the 5th floor cafe. This is it back in May. If you get yourself a My John Lewis card you get free tea and cake or coffee and croissant once a month in the instore cafe.

Astroturf chairs.

Nice planting. I do like a bit of fleabane.

Views of Oxford Street, my old fave Centre Point at the end.

 I loved these in May

Dark purple sempivivums

And later in July

And still love them in July... What are they? Where can I get one? What are they going to do with these ones when the roof garden shuts! Why should the roof garden not become a permanent feature?

This is where the deckchairs are when it's not overcast. Erbie leaves his mark.
